Each controller houses a 64-bit 2.33GHz quad-core processor and supports an array of connectivity options, including 1GbE, 4Gb FC, and 6Gb SAS ports. With RAID 4, RAID-DP, and RAID-TEC protection schemes, the FAS3220 safeguards critical data and allows for future growth through four PCIe expansion slots.
The system scales to accommodate up to 672 drives, reaching capacities of 7.68PB. Compatible with multiple NetApp disk shelves (DS212C, DS224x, DS424x, DS4486, DS460C), it can flexibly mix drive types—MSATA, NL-SAS, SAS, SATA, and SSD—offering a versatile solution for evolving performance and capacity needs.
