This blade goes into the MX7000, up to 8 Blades can be installed at one time. The system holds up to 2 Intel 4th Gen CPUS. If one is installed then a CPU Memory Blank will be installed for proper air flow conditions.

Heatsink & Fans
  • The MX7000 Modular Chassis comes with all 9 fans preinstalled.
  • If you install a CPU with 225W or greater. The wider HPR heatsink is required. Since the HPR Heatsink is wider than the default heatsink. The DIMM count goes from 32 to 24 pcs depending on DIMM population guidance.
  • The MX760c has a liquid cooling solution that can support all CPU SKUs, but is limited in 4 drives Backplane and E3.S EDSFF NVME Backplane configurations due to the Modular Enclosures constraints

Expansion Slots

There are no PCIe slots for this blade since it connects to the Fabric extenders on the back of the MX7000. The way the MX760c connects to these is by the Mezzanine slots A and B. You must populate Mezz Slot A before you install Mezz Slot B.

Here is a list of all the PCIe slots on the system board and what they go to:

  • One PCIe Gen4 x8 for PERC connected to processor 1 (CPU1).
  • One x16 PCIe Gen4 slot for PERC – connected to processor 1
  • One x16 PCIe Gen4 slot for Mezz A – connected to processor 1
  • One x16 PCIe Gen5 slot for Mezz B – connected to processor 2
  • One x16 PCIe Gen4 slot for Mini Mezz – connected to processor 1
  • One x4 PCIe Gen4 slot for BOSS N1 – connected to processor 1
Storage Controllers

The MX760c Blade Server supports Gen 9-12 MX-style PERC controllers. There is a dedicated slot on the blade for the PERC controller. It's right next to the BOSS slot near the drive-back plane.

You can also install a Mini-Mezzanine Storage Controller which connects to Fabric C of the MX7000 Modular Enclosure.

The MX5016s Storage Seld can only be accessed by a computer sled (MX740c, MX750c, MX840c).

Express Computer Systems (ECS) provides a 1 year parts warranty against defects in material or workmanship that will affect the products functionality. All refurbished items are tested prior to shipping to guarantee up-time upon arrival. If you are having issues with an item we provided please Contact Us and we will do our best to assist you.

What does our ECS warranty cover?
We offer 1 year warranty as standard and additional years can be added to fit your needs. Please reach out to a sales associate via the Contact Us page or live chat for more information on extended coverage options. During the coverage period if your product fails we will offer a Next Business Day replacement. If we are unable to replace the product we will refund its original selling price. Shipping costs and tax are not refundable. Express Computer Systems retains the right to decide whether the goods will be replaced or refunded.

What is not covered by our warranty?
Our warranty does not cover any problem caused by the following conditions:

  1. accidents; misuse; carelessness; electrostatic discharge; shock; temperature or humidity beyond the specifications of the product; improper installation; operation; modification;
  2. any improper use that contravenes the instructions in the user manual;
  3. problems caused by other equipment. Our warranty is void if the product is returned with damaged, removed, counterfeit labels, or any modifications (including any component or external cover removal). Our warranties do not cover data loss or damages to any other equipment. In addition, our warranties do not cover incidental damages, consequential damages, or costs related to data recovery, removal, and installation.

  • Please ask for additional warranty/coverage that you may require in addition to the standard 1 ECS warranty prior to final purchase. Requesting additional warranty after your purchase can be denied.
