With up to 16 x 2.5-inch SSDs or HDDs and up to 3TB of DDR4 memory in 48 DIMMs, the R830 seamlessly scales to optimize workloads and maximize the CPU, making it an ideal foundation for scale-out four-socket workloads and dense virtualization deployments. The R830 also boasts an 80% increase in computational power over its predecessor, the R820.

The Dell EMC PowerEdge R830 is a high-performance, four-socket, 2U rack server designed for scalable database applications and dense virtualization deployments. With its extreme processing power and massive memory density of up to 3TB, the R830 is capable of managing data overload and expanding virtual environments in medium to large-sized enterprises.
Scalable, balanced performance
Featuring the Intel Xeon processor E5-4600 v4 product family, with up to 22 cores per processor, the R830 is capable of handling compute-intensive workloads such as enterprise resource planning, data warehousing, e-commerce, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, databases, and data node high performance computing. The server also supports up to 48 DDR4 DIMMS, up to 16 SSDs or traditional HDDs, and PCI Express NVMe Storage on Slot 6-10 for maximum I/O capabilities.
Scalable, balanced performance
The R830 is highly versatile, making it an ideal platform for a variety of compute-intensive, memory-bound, or I/O-centric workloads. Express Computer Systems (ECS) provides a 1 year parts warranty against defects in material or workmanship that will affect the products functionality. All refurbished items are tested prior to shipping to guarantee up-time upon arrival. If you are having issues with an item we provided please Contact Us and we will do our best to assist you.
What does our ECS warranty cover?
We offer 1 year warranty as standard and additional years can be added to fit your needs. During the coverage period if your product fails we will offer a Next Business Day replacement. If we are unable to replace the product we will refund its original selling price. Shipping costs and tax are not refundable. Express Computer Systems retains the right to decide whether the goods will be replaced or refunded.
