The Dell PowerEdge T420 is a powerful and reliable 2-socket tower server that delivers performance and built-in capacity for non-disruptive growth. The T420’s acoustical profile allows it to fit unobtrusively into quiet office environments and data centers alike. This tower server is an excellent fit for general-purpose small and medium business workloads such as database, file and print sharing, retail and email. The T420 also fulfills platform needs in small offices with the growing trend of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Hot pluggability of key components, combined with leading manageability, make it an excellent server for branch offices and other remote sites where IT skills might not be present. Consistent worldwide support makes it highly appealing to multinational businesses and organizations with remote offices.
Featuring the extensive performance of two Intel Xeon E5-2400 processors, and complemented by substantial memory capacity and broad I/O bandwidth, the T420 provides high, balanced performance and built-in room for growth. Its twelve DIMM slots and six PCIe slots provide memory density and wide I/O bandwidth to support both memory-intensive and data-intensive applications and databases. Built-in capacity for up to eight 3.5-inch or sixteen 2.5-inch hard drives accommodate data storage as your business or organization grows. These combined technology features are necessary to support consolidated and virtualized environments, a role in which the T420 also shines.
To protect your virtualized workloads, the PowerEdge T420 offers dual SD media making your hypervisors redundant and failsafe. Other reliability and availability features include hot-plug hard drives, both hardware and software RAID options, redundant fans and hot-plug power supplies.

Express Computer Systems (ECS) provides a 1 year parts warranty against defects in material or workmanship that will affect the products functionality. All refurbished items are tested prior to shipping to guarantee up-time upon arrival. If you are having issues with an item we provided please Contact Us and we will do our best to assist you.
What does our ECS warranty cover?
We offer 1 year warranty as standard and additional years can be added to fit your needs. During the coverage period if your product fails we will offer a Next Business Day replacement. If we are unable to replace the product we will refund its original selling price. Shipping costs and tax are not refundable. Express Computer Systems retains the right to decide whether the goods will be replaced or refunded.
